The amazing construction of Hearst Castle was spared no expense in it’s day. The 90,000+ square foor castle was the home of media mogul William Randolph Hearst. His influence however, was more than publishing – he was involved in everything entertainment from Hollywood to the world of Art.
Windsurfing Near Harmony, CA

During a trip up the coast of California, I saw what looked like kite’s flying in the distance. As I got closer I realized it was on the water. I’d stumbled across a group of Windsurfers enjoying the sun and the surf.
Whole Lotta Rosies – The Band

Los Angeles has a lot of bands performing regularly around the landscape; it’s the home of the entertainment industry. There are a few staple “tribute” acts that stand out, including the group – Whole Lotta Rosies. These girls have an AC/DC tribute act that sets them apart from some other area groups.

The Stargazer

I had driven up the 14 Freeway into the desert to find an airplane graveyard that I heard people talking about. When I got there, I found myself standing on the other side of a fence from the actual Orbital Stargazer!
Skateboard Competition – Huntington Beach – 2009

At the Huntington Beach 2009 Open Surf Competition, another really great feature was the skate bowl. I didn’t make the competition, as I was shooting surfers, but I did catch some guys warming up on my way through.
